So these last two weeks I've been researching and looking for people with information on the history of CC,Tx Catholicism. Well I'm happy to say my jobs been pretty easy so far. I went to the library last week on Wednesday,(or was it Tuesday?), and I was happy to find an article from 1939 about the Catholic history as well as a book. Now the ladies running the second floor were incredibly helpful in this experience as well.
Father Don, the priest at my church has also provided a name of Msgr. Michael Howell, a priest over at St.Andrew's by the Sea. I plan on contacting the church this week.
As Mr.Martinez knows, I am extremely excited to do this. Although it seems that ny excitement has triggered some unnecessary nerves. Alas I will be contacting them with prepared questions to see if I can conduct an interview of any kind and when if possible. God willing all goes well.

Just some fun facts:
- Corpus Christi's first Catholic church was finished in 1855 and mass was held by a one B. O'Rielly.
- Because most of the church goers were Irish as well as the priest, it was appropriately named St. Patrick's
- The first church was built two street northwest of CC, Tx Cathedral on Tancheua St.
